Abstract

The article addresses the issue of philosopheme of existential in symbolical, semantic and art contexts. The assertion about heuristic value of concept of the existential for the philosophical anthropology and philosophy of mind was proven. The purpose of the article is the problematization the concept of existential in the context of modern philosophical anthropology. It is determined that an existential is considered to be a variative expression of invariant existence or specific formation which substantiates solidity, wholeness of Dasein. An existential is a specific transition which can overcome an inconsistency between sensual and rational, subjective and objective. The methods of investigation were historical-philosophical and conceptual analysis of the initial questions and the concept of existential phenomenological analysis. Creation of meaning is an inherent feature of Heidegger’s understanding of existential. An existential is a specific prism through which existence can be shown, every mental experience is considered to be an existential according to Heidegger. The existential of boredom was presented as an example in detail. The explication of deep boredom is given for the concrete embodiment of the concept. The main drawback of the above- mentioned concept is an inability of its objectification. The main results of the research are the elucidation of the symbolic nature of education in the sense of human consciousness and the concept of existential relevance for modern philosophical anthropology, philosophy of mind and ethics. The originality of the research is to try applying the conceptual framework of Heidegger's fundamental ontology to the problems of symbolic meaning and nature of consciousness, as well as philosophical anthropology. In conclusion, the concept of existential requires the revision of the orthodox point of view, a necessity of a new look in a philosophical tradition. First of all, this concept can be used for solving a mind-body problem which considered to be one of the most controversial in a modern philosophical movement. The concept of existential is connected with the traditional logical-semantic problem – correlation of meaning and sense in human consciousness. The problem of existential is updated because it has multipurpose meaning and it can be possibly used in many spheres of humanitarian sciences.
